How Do You Edit & Backup Windows Registry?
Editing your Windows registry system is a simple process. However, when it comes to editing anything in the Windows registry system, it is always imperative to back up the registry, just in case. Even though it is a relatively simple procedure, always take care when editing the registry, as a mistake may have major repercussions for your computer system, such as having to reinstall your entire operating system. Click on the “Start” button located on the computer desktop and click the “Run” option. Type the word “Regedit” in the “Run” dialog box and click “OK.” Select the key you want to modify within the Windows registry editor.
