How Do You Find A Hole In An Above Ground Pool Liner?
Having an above-ground pool means regular maintenance and, sometimes, repairs. An above-ground pool commonly has a vinyl liner. Sharp objects such as sticks can easily puncture it. Constant movement of the water can weaken seams and make them leak. And the vinyl liner can dry out from the sun’s strong rays. Once you suspect your pool has a hole in the liner, the first course of action is to find it. Locating the hole can be compared to finding a needle in the haystack, but here are certain ways to check the liner that will make it easier. Inspect the grass (or other surface) around the outside the entire perimeter of the pool. If you find a wet spot (that’s not caused by splashing in the pool) that place could likely be a leak. Have a helper stand at that spot to mark it. Put on a pair of goggles and your swimming attire. Stick your head under the water and carefully inspect the pool liner under the water. If you found a suspicious spot in Step 1, check that location first. Pay special
