Chemical should not be stored with other chemicals of like properties and should be distinctly labeled. Make sure all chemicals are stored on shelves with lips so they cannot easily fall if bumped. There should be no chemicals on venting hoods unless the hood is designed specifically to accommodate storage. Unused portions of a chemical already measured for an experiment shouldn’t be put back in the original chemical container. Check the appliances in
