How do you find the radius and height of a cylinder with only the volume?

The short answer is you can’t. If the only information you have is the volume, there are infinitely many combinations of radius and height that can give you that volume. The volume of a cylinder is given by V=h*(pi)*r^2, where h is the height and r the radius of the base. If you only know V, for any given h you can always find an r that gives you the desired volume. For example, h=1 and r=2 will yield the same volume as h=4 and r=1.
