How Do You Fix A Jammed Keyboard Key?
• Unplug the keyboard, so there are no short outs. • Wipe the key. Take a slightly damp cloth and wipe the keyboard, then wait several minutes for it to dry. • Try compressed air. Get a compressed air canister designed for cleaning computers, then aim the jet of air toward the bottom of the stuck key. • Take it out. Carefully remove the troubled button if you have to, and remove the buttons around it. Carefully wipe the inside of the button and the inside of the area it was removed. Let it fully dry. • Insert the button in its original place. Wipe it with the damp cloth again and test out the key.
