0

A leaky shower fixture can be annoying and can waste water. Thankfully you can fix your own fixtures without having to call the plumber, thereby saving money and being able to say you have done it yourself. You can easily fix them in a matter of minutes and experience a leak-free shower fixture in no time. Following these steps will ensure a successful repair. Step 1 Turn off the water supply to the shower. Step 2 Unscrew the shower fixture from the pipe where it is leaking. Step 3 Wrap pipe thread tape around the threads of the pipe two to three times going around making sure all the threads are covered. Step 4 Tighten back on your shower fixture to the pipe. Step 5 Turn on the water and test for leaks. Your shower fixture is now ready for use.
