How Do You Follow Up After An Interview?
You just finished your interview. Phew. You can now wipe the sweat off your head and try to slow down your pounding heart. The worst is over; however, there are STILL steps you need to take to try to increase your chances of getting hired. Probably the most important part of an interview is your FOLLOW UP. Follow these easy instructions after a job interview, and you will be all set! After your interview, make sure to jot down as many things as you can possibly remember from the interview. Try to write down questions you were asked and how you answered them, questions you asked and how the interviewer answered them, any information given about the company, salary information, etc. Draft a thank you letter to the interviewer. Make sure to sound gracious towards him or her and try to sound as enthusiastic as possible. You should be as specific as possible in your letter and cite any memorable conversation you had.
