How Do You Get Started With Altera Quartus?
The wide array of available computer-aided design (CAD) software applications makes it difficult to coordinate design planning among multiple designers. Quartus, developed by Altera, offers programmable logic that allows designers utilizing multiple CAD applications to coordinate a design project across these different programs. Getting started with your Altera Quartus software begins with starting a new design project through the New Project Wizard. Install your Altera Quartus software onto your computer. If you have a CD version of the software, run the CD and the software should begin to upload onto your computer. You may also visit the official Altera website at altera.com to download either the free or the licensed version of Quartus. Open your Altera Quartus CAD software.
