I was advised to use baking soda but had no idea how to use it effectively on the material. Great!

Get 2 clean handkerchiefs and empty baking soda into them, then fold them and tie them up separately so none of the powder falls out. Place them in the underarms of your jacket. Wait a day, and the odor should be gone.
