A PUR horizontal faucet filter allows you to get fresh, clean, filtered water directly from the tap. An at-home water purifier, like the PUR system, helps to eliminate the need for water bottles and in turn, helps the environment. The process of installing the faucet filter onto your kitchen sink is extremely easy. Unscrew and remove the aerator on the end your kitchen water faucet. Place this somewhere safe in case you ever decide to remove the PUR water filter. Screw on the included adapter, if needed. You can determine if the adapter is needed by holding up the PUR filter to the faucet to see if it will fit securely. Hold up the PUR water filter to the faucet, screw the mounting nut to the end of the faucet where you removed the aerator. Tighten the mounting nut.
