Here is how you can install a router to use with a DSL connection. Ensure that you have all necessary equipment to connect the DSL router. This includes the router itself, CD ROM with manual, Ethernet cable, telephone cord (in case of an ADSL router) and power adapter. Contact the retailer or the manufacturer of the DSL router if any of the above equipment is missing. Plug in the telephone line to the ADSL port of your router.
