How Do You Install Interbase?
InterBase is a database platform produced by Embarcadero Technologies, Inc. The database platform is used by individuals developing server, desktop and embedded applications for consumers. InterBase boasts many features, including small use of server resources, little maintenance by a database administrator, automatic crash recovery and multiple security and data protection checks. Open your web browser and navigate to the InterBase section of the Embarcadero website (see Resources). Click “Download Trial.” Find your operating system edition and click “Download.” Read the Embarcadero restrictions and click “Ok.” Select “Save File” in the “Opening ib_install.exe” window. Fill out your contact information and click “Submit.” Open your email and retrieve your serial number. Double-click the InterBase download. Click “Run” in the “Open File Security” window.
