How Do You Learn English As A Second Language At Home?
Being a college educator, I have been asked by some friends and family on some of the best tips for learning English. Here is what I had said to them: When your children watch television, sit with them and watch television for at least 30 minutes a day. Speak in English with family members for at least 30 minutes a day. Don’t worry about making mistakes. Try to read children books to your children everyday. Once you are comfortable, then read a magazine or some reading literature. Multi-task your time by listening to music that is played in English, or talk radio show. For example, if you are cleaning, you could be listening. Invite neighbors over coffee or lunch. Neighbors are usually patient, and will be thrilled to help you learn English, as well as make a friend.
