Candy topiaries are great decorations for birthday parties, baby showers, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine’s Day, and any other time of the year. This article will list the steps to create your own custom topiary. Step 1 Select your materials. Try to get a foam shape that is close to the color of your candy, else you can paint it. Make sure your foam shape has a flat surface to sit on the stand display, or has a dowel in it to stick in a candle holder. If your foam shape is round, you should select candies that are round in shape. Do not get candies that are too large because they do not cover as well, unless you have smaller candies or colored sugar to fill in the gaps. Step 2 Attach your candies to the foam shape using glue.
