How Do You Make A Chain From Starburst Wrappers?
Who said chains need to be made from metal? If you don’t have any ore in your backyard, here’s how to make a chain from something you can find at your local grocery store: Starburst wrappers. (This can also be done with gum wrappers. Follow the same instructions.) • Get a whole bunch of Starburst wrappers. Seven wrappers will make approximately 2 inches of chain. • Lay one wrapper down on a table so that it is long but not tall, with the blank side facing up. Never mind the creases already made. • Fold the wrapper in half so that the bottom corners touch the top ones. The opening is on the top. • Do this 2 more times. Opening on top. • The color side of the wrapper should be visible. It should be only be about 6 millimeters tall. • Fold it in half horizontally. This step is to crease the paper. • Open it up again. • Fold it so that the outer edges are touching the crease. • Fold it in half once again.
