How Do You Make A Gazing Ball Light?
A gazing ball is a large, colored, glass ball usually placed on lawns for decorations. Add a light to the gazing ball and the results are light effects on the walls and landscaping. Creating a gazing ball light is difficult task, but with some time and effort it can light and decorate your home. Step 1 Clean the gazing ball with warm water and a wash cloth. Dry the ball. Step 2 Drill a hole through the stopper. The hole needs to be big enough to fit the cord through it. Step 3 Slide the lamp rod into the hole. Push the stopper into the opening to keep the rod in place. You can adjust the length of the rod by pushing more or less of the rod into the ball. The hole in the bottom of the ball is big enough to easily slide a light bulb through. Step 4 Remove the end of the plug from the cord with wire cutters. Feed the cord through the lamp rod with the light socket at the end of the rod. Super glue the rod to the socket. Step 5 Connect the plug to the wire by matching the color on the wire
