Spring is full of flowers, but none are more beautiful for a mother than the ones given by her children. Sadly those handpicked blooms soon fade. What about giving Mom a bouquet of flowers made from her children’s handprints? These blossoms never fade and will become a special memory long after her children are grown. Trace each child’s handprint on the construction paper. Let each child make two or three. If it is just one child, have her make several from different colors. Cut out the handprints. Have each child write their name, age and the year on one side of the cutout handprint. Go over it with a pen, so it will last longer. Curl each of the fingers of the handprint around a pencil. This will create the curve of the lily blossom. Make sure the side you curve inward is not the one with the children’s names and ages. Form a cone, using the side of the palm of the hand that doesn’t have the children’s name and ages. Either tape or glue the bottom edge. Staple the flower to a green p
