When you purchase a new vanity light for your bathroom it often will not fit centered directly over your mirror because it is larger or smaller than the old one. Thus, when you try to connect the light to the existing electrical box you discover that the light is off center. But you do not have to move the electrical box to install your new light as long as the wiring from the box is capable of being connected to the wiring in your new light.
