Also called a Katana. This is the Ninja weapon of choice. Although ninja preferred not killing senselessly, this weapon was used when cornered. This only shows you how to make a basic sword. you can make your own to different specs. but that wouldn’t be traditional style. • Start with a rectangle of metal. About 2 1/2 feet is the normal size. • Cut either a quarter of a circle or 45 degree angle out of the tip with torch cutter. • Make a hand guard. start with a piece of metal and drill over lapping hole in the middle until you have a spot for the blade. • File off the extra. • Weld or glue the two piece of metal together. • Add a wooden handle conformed to your likings with glue. • Grind off the side you made your cut until the handle. Wrap the handle with nylon or leather, whatever you find!
