Nutritional yeast, along with a few other ingredients, can make a tasty substitute for cheese sauce. Simple to make, this recipe can be used for any recipe calling for a cheese sauce and is especially wonderful for macaroni and cheese. Mix all dry ingredients in the saucepan. Add the water, whisk briskly to blend all ingredients. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly. Bring to a boil and cook for 25 to 30 seconds, or until thick. Remove from heat. Add the margarine and yellow mustard. Whisk until blended.
