How Do You Make An Automated System Recovery Disk?
Windows offers back up and recovery functionality built in to the operating system. Recovery discs are a good tool to have in case your system suffers catastrophic failure or becomes infested with malwear. Recovery discs contain both your operating system and all the basic drivers your computer requires to function. Creation of automated recovery discs can be completed by following several steps. Turn on your computer and wait for your operating system to load. Click on the “Start” button at the bottom left corner of your screen and select “All Programs.” Select the accessories folder for the manufacturer of your computer. For example, if you have a Dell computer, it will be named “Dell Accessories,” for Toshiba, “Toshiba Accessories.” Click on the “OS Recovery CD” program, then read and confirm the licensing agreement.
