How Do You Make An Embroidery Running Stitch?

0

A running stitch produces a straight line of stitches as an outline or the foundation for a more complex stitch. It’s the easiest embroidery stitch to master. Visualize a line with points 3-2-1 and an equal distance between each point. Bring the thread up to the right side of the fabric at point 1. Insert the needle at point 2. Bring the needle up at point 3. Continue repeating the sequence. Push the tip of the needle in and out of the fabric several times before pulling the thread through in order to complete the work faster.
