How Do You Make Bead Chicks For Easter?

0

Nothing says Easter quite like baby chicks. These crafty chicks are much less maintenance than the real thing and are just as cute. Whip several of these Easter chicks out in no time, and have your house peeping this spring. Paint both beads with acrylic craft paint. Set them aside to dry. Apply a second coat of paint if needed. Bend a pipe cleaner in half. Put a feather in the fold of the pipe cleaner and twist it in until the feather is secure. Slide the small bead onto the opposite end of the pipe cleaner just until the bottom of the feather is covered. Slide the larger bead on the pipe cleaner. Bend the ends of the pipe cleaner so that they form feet for the chick. Tuck the pointy ends back inside the hole of the bead. Cut a small triangle out of orange felt or card stock. Glue the triangle onto the middle of the chick’s face for the beak. Use a fine-tipped permanent marker to make eyes on the chick.
