Step 2 Then add 1 tsp. of Vanilla. Mix about 1/4 cup of the coffee creamer with 1 cup of hot water. Then put about half of a cup in the bowl with the vanilla and butter and shortening and mix at high speed until creamed together. Step 3 Now is the step that ensures you have an icing with no air bubbles. On slow to med speed start to mix the powdered sugar in a cup at a time. After each cup added mix until smooth. You may have to add more of the creamer mixture depending on the consistency you want.
