How Do You Make Cranberry Sauce With Splenda?
Everyone loves cranberry sauce, but the high amount of sugar found in most recipes makes it off limits for diabetics and others who need a diet low in sugar. However, you can make cranberry sauce with Splenda that is delicious and diet-friendly. It’s easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. Serve this cranberry sauce with Splenda at your next family Thanksgiving, or at any other family dinner. Rinse 12 ounces of fresh cranberries in cool water and drain them. In a medium saucepan, bring one cup of water to a boil. Stir in one cup of Splenda. When the Splenda has dissolved, add the cranberries and one teaspoon of orange zest to the saucepan. Stir well. Bring to a boil again, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can serve your cranberry sauce with Splenda warm, or you can chill it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving, whichever you prefer.
