How Do You Make Cream Puff Cake?
This cake is a great favorite in our house! This will be an easy cake to take to pot lucks and family gatherings. We have never brought a pan home that was not empty! Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large heavy saucepan, heat butter and water to boiling over medium high heat. When dough pulls away from sides of pan then remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Spread in bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9×13 inch pan. As with cream puffs, this dough will puff up. Don’t worry. All is fine. This is part of the beauty of the Cream Puff Cake! In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and milk. Beat until smooth. It is best to have the milk and cream cheese at room temperature before blending together. Add pudding mix and beat until thickened.
