How Do You Make Donuts Out Of Canned Biscuits (A Quick And Easy Recipe)?

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like donuts. We live in a small town, though, and the nearest Krispy Kreme is fifteen miles away. Granted, fifteen miles isn’t much, but when you’re craving donuts on a lazy weekend morning, you don’t want to get dressed and drive that far to get them. I recently remembered a recipe that my aunt used to make for me. Do it yourself donuts made with canned biscuits. Put your pan or pot on the stove (the size depends on how many donuts you want to fry at one time). Put the burner on high. While the oil heats up, pop open your can of donuts. With your thumbs and forefingers, form a hole in the center of the doughy raw biscuit. Put the donuts into the oil (gently, to avoid splashing). Cook until golden brown (flipping at least once). Remove from oil using a slotted spoon. Put the hot donuts into the brown paper bag. Add your toppings of choice (in our case, cinnamon sugar). Fold bag closed. Shake! Remove donuts from the bag and serve on a plate.
