How Do You Make Earrings Out Of Pop Can Tabs?
Many people pull off the can tab and throw it away. However, not too many people realize that they can make some really cool earrings out of the pop can tabs. Collect a couple of pop can tabs. You will need two tabs for each pair of earrings. Carefully pull them off of the cans without bending them. Attach two to four small wires, head pins, or eye pins to the tab so that they dangle downwards. You will need to use needle nose pliers to attach these small pieces of wire. Bend them around the tab through the hole so that they dangle, but are secure to the pop can tab. You can decide the length of these wires, depending on how long you want your earrings to be. Add beads to the dangling wires. Use small seed beads or very small pony beads. You can alternate colored beads or use all the same color. Once you add them, secure the end of the wire with the needle nose pliers so that the beads and embellishments do not fall off. Place earring pieces to the back or top of the pop can tab. If it
