How Do You Make Heath Bar Angel Food Cake?
This is an easy and enjoyable angel food dessert cake that uses crushed heath bars, a candy bar made from milk chocolate and English toffee. It is perfect for last minute entertaining and is always a hit at our family gatherings and potlucks. Using a small mixing bowl and spatula, fold cool whip into caramel sauce until just blended. Using a bread knife, slice the prepared angel food cake into three horizontal layers. Place one layer of the angel food cake on the serving platter. Before opening the heath bar packages, crush the candy bars with the palm of your hand. After they are crushed, place them into a small bowl. Spread a fourth of the Cool Whip mixture on the angel food cake slice on the serving platter and sprinkle with a fourth of the heath candy bars. Repeat with the next layer of angel food cake.
