• Make sure you have a good job otherwise your life might easily feel meaningless, and if possible work part-time so that you have a few days free to do other things such as sports and clubs. The definition of ‘good job’ here is a little nebulous as it can be whatever you want rather than what your culture thinks is a ‘good job’. • Plan what you want to do each day and consider your interests or things you wish to achieve. Setting goals or milestones is an excellent technique to help yourself to achieve what you want. Keep a to-do list and reference it often. • If stuck at home don’t spend each and every day doing the same old things, mix it up! You could do a new activity, play an old game, read a book, take a walk, plant something, or watch a new movie or TV show. The rule of thumb is to hold judgment on something until you’ve personally experienced it.
