How Do You Make Tracing Paper At Home?
Everybody knows that you can make paper at home but did you know that you can make your own tracing paper? It is actually quite simple. A few ingredients added to regular white paper and you never have to go hunting in the store for tracing paper again. Well, you might still want to but this is a fun DIY project to do. People will be amazed when you tell them that you made it yourself. Prepare a container that is large enough to fit the paper. A dishpan or a large plastic container works well. Place the beeswax in the container and add the turpentine. Allow the beeswax to completely dissolve. Dip the paper into the dissolved mixture. Saturate the paper and lift out. Allow it to dry flat, for 2 to 3 days, on a wire rack. Use your new tracing paper in any project that you need to.
