Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and if you are looking for a stuffing recipe that differs a little bit then this may be the recipe for you. It’s not difficult and it tastes wonderful. I like to use Pepperidge Farm stuffing cubes because I find that there is very little difference in quality from homemade croutons when you add flavor like Kielbasa sausage. And, it’s a time saver. This recipe is for a 14-15 lb. turkey, and is easily adjusted for a larger size. In a large sized med. high temperature skillet, use 2 tbs. of the butter and add in the onions, celery, orange pepper, green pepper, mushrooms and saute until tender, approx 15 minutes. Add minced garlic and chopped sage, saute another 3-5 minutes and remove from heat. Set aside in a large stainless steel mixing bowl. Using the same skillet, brown your cubed Kielbasa.
