How Do You Make Warm Spiced Apple Cider?
This is a great recipe for warm spiced apple cider that has been edited and changed through the years with my family. Though it we make it for holidays and family get togethers it is wonderful anytime it is chilly!!! There are several optional add ins and variations also listed so make it your own and change it up a little!! First you will want to pour the gallon of either apple cider or cran-apple juice in the crockpot. The apple cider will give you a more traditional taste whereas the cran-apple juice will give you a more tart taste. If you don’t want to wait for the cider/juice to warm in the crockpot heat it on the stove first then pour into crockpot. Add 3-4 cinnamon sticks, 1 orange sliced in wedges and desired amount of mulling spices. If your mulling spices do not come in a tea bag sort of package you can add them to the spice packet we will make in the next step. If using whole cloves you can also push into the orange rind before adding or add them to the spice packet. To make
