How do you play wrist staccato correctly on piano?

0

You press the keys with the staccato half of its value (say, if the staccato is on a quarter note, you play it like an eighth note). Then after you have pressed the halved value, remove your fingers by putting your wrist up with the back of your hand [exaggeratedly] perpendicular to your forearm, like the action when you remove your finger when you accidentally touched a hot object or get shocked by static electricity.
