How Do You Prepare A Long Island Iced Tea?
The Long Island Iced Tea is an incredibly popular and incredibly alcoholic cocktail. It is so popular that it is considered to be one of the top 5 most popular cocktails. As a result of its popularity it is regularly mentioned or seen served in television and movies. The long island iced tea is also the basis of many elaborate mixed-drinks. The cocktail dates back to the 1970s as is named after the continental USA’s largest island Long Island which is in New York. Contrary to its name, however, there is no iced tea in the Long Island Iced Tea. Combine the following ingredients together over ice in a glass: 1 part vodka 1 part tequila 1 part rum 1 part gin 1 part triple sec 1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix 1 splash cola Pour the contents into a shaker and give it one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with a lemon slice.
