How Do You Prepare Emergency Food Rations?
“Hi. I’m Rachel Yatuzis and I’m going to show you how to prepare emergency food rations. The first thing you want to remember is if you have three days worth of food for each person at least. Ideally, you want to have two to three weeks worth of food for each person. Make sure that you have lots of water. Water is going to be the most important thing even more so than food. You’re going to need the calories from food but water is a must have. If people are thirsty, they can get desperate, you know. Make sure you have enough food and things like that for other members of the family. Your dogs and your cats; animals. They’re going to need to survive also. They’re victims also when they’re natural disasters, ice storms, tornadoes, hurricanes anything like that. Can goods, obviously, everybody knows they’re nonperishable. Can goods are wonderful to have. Don’t forget to pack the can opener or you’re going to be banging it on the floor and the things never going to open. So remember to have
