It takes only a few steps to program a Jensen Universal Remote Control, but you need to know the code of the component you are programming into the remote. You can get the code from the manufacturer of the component, or you can visit Remote Central (see the list of Related Sites). Manually turn on the component you want to program. Find the three-digit code numbers for the component brand. Hold the Device key down until the green indicator light comes on. Release the Device key. Within 30 seconds, enter in the three-digit code number. The light will flash when the right code has been entered. Press the Power key. If the component turns off, you have found the right code.
