How Do You Put Beads On A Wedding Veil?

0

Beading adds design and dimension to a wedding veil. Singular beads can be hand-sewn in random areas on the veil to create a free-form design, or in a pattern of lines, curlicues or dainty flowering vines. Patterns are made by sewing a series of hand strung beads in a design. Fine pearl, bugle or seed beading personalize a wedding veil to compliment and enhance bridal attire. Thread a needle with 8 to 10 inches of white or ecru thread. Double the thread strands and knot the end. Insert the needle at the back of the veil material and pull through gently. The fine veil material is easily damaged if the thread is yanked. Add a sequin by sliding it on the needle first so that it lays against the veil material. Place a bead on the needle tip, and slide the bead down the thread. The bead secures the sequin to the veil. Place the tip of the needle under the bead or the sequin, and insert the needle 1/8 inch from the first threaded area. Reach under the material and pull on the tip of the need
