How Do You Refill An HP Inkjet Printer Cartridge?
Anyone who owns an HP printer knows how expensive replacement ink cartridges can be. In some cases the cost of a single set of replacement ink cartridges can be as much, or even more, than the original purchase price of the printer. With ink costs so high, it is no wonder so many printer owners choose to refill their old cartridges and get more life out of them. Lift the lid on your HP printer and note the cartridge numbers. Each print cartridge has its own refill kit, so you need to purchase the kit designed specifically for that cartridge. Remove the print cartridges from your HP printer by lifting the plastic cartridge cover and gently pulling the cartridge toward you. Lift the cartridge out of the printer and set it aside. Locate the small breather hole on the top of each HP cartridge. This breather hole will typically be located near the cartridge label. Insert a needle into the breather hole to widen it.
