However, the self-cleaning mode is not perfect, and the indoor of the oven must be periodically hand cleaned. Doing so is much easier if the door is first removed. Open the oven’s door until it is level with the ground. Locate the two door latches on the interior side of the door. A single latch is located at each corner of the bottom of the door. Release the two door latches. Each door latch consists of a hinged metal piece.
