AVG Internet Security is a suite of security, anti-virus and anti-spyware software developed for the Microsoft Windows, Linux and FreeBSD platforms. In addition to installing security software on computers, newer versions of the program also add toolbars to the Internet Explorer and Firefox Web browsers during the setup process. These toolbars, co-branded with the Yahoo! logo, can be disabled in either browser with just a few clicks. Open an Internet Explorer browser window. Click the “Tools” button on the righthand side of the window. Place your mouse over the “Toolbars” menu option and then click the “AVG Security Toolbar” option from the resulting submenu. This action disables the toolbar and prevents it from appearing in Internet Explorer. Open a Firefox browser window. Click “Tools” in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select “Add-Ons.” Locate the “AVG Security Toolbar” entry, click it once to select it, and then press the “Disable” button. Click the red “X” in the top-rig
