How Do You Remove Clog From Garbage Disposal?

“Well, we’ve got to see if there’s anything jammed up in this disposal. But, I’m looking down here and I can see the teeth and some stuff in the drum. But I really can’t tell if there’s anything jammed up. So, I’m going to have to reach in there. I don’t recommend you reaching into a disposal. Unless you’re absolutely sure that no one’s going to hit the switch. Because it will eat your fingers up. So, I’ve done this before and it’s a hell of a risk, but I’m going to jam my fingers in here. And I’m turning the rotator, it’s loose, I don’t feel anything jamming it up. So there’s no problem here. So, that’s not our problem. There’s nothing in there that’s jammed up. So now, the switch works, we know we have electricity to it, the breaker is pushed in, and now the rotor and the teeth are just sliding around fine like a real disposal. It’s got to be the motor. So, all we can do now is yank the disposal.
