How Do You Remove Programs From Windows Startup Menu?

0

The Windows start up menu is a list of icons of regularly used programs on the computer. You can add and remove items from this list. A key advantage to using the start up menu is that you do not have to click “All programs” and search through columns of program folders to access a certain program. Locate the “Start menu” icon in the lower left of the screen. On Windows XP and Windows 2000 the icon is labeled “Start.” On Windows Vista and Windows 7 the icon is the “Windows logo.” Click on the “Start menu” icon and look for the program you want to remove from the start up menu. Right click on the icon of the program and wait for the drop down menu to appear.
