While installing mini blinds can be highly annoying, taking them down is a snap. You can remove window mini blinds with a few simple steps. Step 1 Open the blinds to their highest capacity. It’s much easier to remove mini blinds when they are packed together in a single compact unit rather than dangling down. Step 2 Examine the top of the blinds to see how they are connected to the window frame. Most are held in place by two small cube-like brackets at either end of the blind base. If that is the case, the front square of the bracket should easily slide out if you push it gently towards the center of the blinds. Step 3 Slide the small square panel out of its brackets.
