Bad gas delivery is one of the largest causes for engines to stop working. These lines are plastic and can get ripped, torn or broken easily. Luckily, replacement lines are very inexpensive and can be purchased on a roll. You should replace your fuel line at least on a seasonal basis if it’s already a few years old. Pour out the contents of your gas tank into an approved container. Start the engine (if you can) and run the throttle until it dies. Locate the fuel line on the carburetor. The carburetor is on the rear of the engine and is beside the air filter. Use the needle nose pliers to pinch the fuel line; disconnect it from the metal nozzle. Remove the gas cap. Pull out the fuel filter and fuel line with the needle nose pliers. Discard both of them.
