Unplug the washing machine so you don’t get shocked while replacing the belts. Move the washer away from the wall 10 to 12 inches. Tilt the washer back against the wall. Prop the washer up with a sturdy item, such as a brick. Be sure it is stable as you will be working under the washer as you change the belts. Remove the two belts under the washer.
