Spark plug wires on your Chevy Beretta should be replaced every 30,000 miles. The plug wires are responsible for delivering the spark to the engine cylinders from the power distributor. This is a crucial electrical component. If the wires are not functioning normally, you will not get a sufficient spark to ignite the plugs and create the combustion necessary for the engine to run. You can get new spark plug wires at any auto parts store. You should work on only one plug at a time. Open the hood of your Beretta and locate the spark plug wires running across the top of the engine. Grab one of the plug wires (it doesn’t matter which one you start with) at the plug, and wiggle the plug back and forth while you pull up on it. It should come right out of the top of the engine.
