How Do You Replace The Internal Battery In A Kodak Easyshare Camera?

0

The Kodak EasyShare is the name brand for a line of digital cameras that use rechargeable battery packs to power the camera. Although designed for long-lasting life, all rechargeable batteries eventually lose their ability to hold an electrical charge and must be replaced. Changing out the battery pack in a Kodak EasyShare takes only a minute. Open the battery compartment on the side of the Kodak Easyshare camera by pushing forward in the direction of the arrow on the cover. The compartment is located on the right-hand edge of the camera when holding the EasyShare with the lens facing forward. Slide out the old battery pack and dispose of it properly. Do not burn the battery or toss it in a trash bag bound for a landfill. Install the new battery pack with the terminals lined up in the correct polarity, positive and negative (+ and -). Close the battery compartment door and slide back until it locks with a click.
