How Do You Reset A PS3 Controller?
If you’re having problems connecting your Sixaxis or DualShock 3 controller to your PlayStation 3, you may need to reset it. Fortunately, resetting your controller is an easy process that takes only 1 or 2 minutes. Hold your controller like you normally would when playing a game, and then flip it over. Use a paperclip to hit the Reset button on the back of your controller. The button is located to the right of the screw found above the sticker on the back of the controller. Connect your controller to your PlayStation 3 using the USB cable. Press the PS button on the front of the controller. The system will boot up, and your controller is now reset and synced with your PlayStation 3.
