How Do You Restore Deleted Files From A Given Date?
Sometimes files get deleted by accident. If you remember the file names, you can restore them easily. But if you only remember the date they were deleted, you can still restore them. Luckily, all deleted files are sent to a holding cell before they are actually banished forever. Follow these simple steps to locate your files based on a given date and release them from their prison. Open the Recycle Bin by double-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop. Click “View” on the menu bar and then click “Details.” Click on the column header called “Date Deleted.” You might have to scroll to right to see the column. This will sort your deleted files by the date they were deleted. Scroll down to find the date you are looking for. Scroll back to the left to view the names of the files you want to restore. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on each file name that you want to restore. Release the Ctrl key when you’re done.
